After the Corona Cleanup Crew Incident, a new Legend appeared in the Apex Games under the codename, Jackrabbit. Despite their anxiety and gloomy demeanor, Jackrabbit has faith in Lady Death herself and has been granted the ability to see their enemies' lifespans. Combining that with their amplified headset, they also have the ability to hear enemies better than their teammates and lead enemies to their ends.Although not the most popular Legend in the current roster, Jackrabbit and their existence has been subject to both praise and scrutiny alike. From the residents of their homeworld calling Jackrabbit's practices "inhumane" and "demonic", to having their gender-identity questioned and dissected endlessly. It also doesn't help that the Syndicate's very own PR manager Jacob Young has branded both Jackrabbit and Bloodhound as rivals within the Apex Games, basing it off their namesakes' predator/prey dynamic.

Bloodhound is one of the greatest competitors in the Apex Games, their debut winning the hearts and interest of many overnight after their first championship. Despite the fame, no one knows exactly who they are and their identity has been the topic of endless speculation. The only clues people have to their identity is their veneration of the old Norse gods, their hunting expertise, and affinity for ravens.Bloodhound grew up on the World's Edge region of Talos, child of two brilliant young scientists named Johann and Brigida. Unfortunately the couple met their demise, and Johann's brother, Artur, had to take in the young one, and raised them to learn the hunting community's ways.

I’m Jun, 25+ years old, a nonbinary bisexual Filipino living in Philippines.The fact that I’m nonbinary and bisexual are one of the few things that makes me hard to find someone to relate to in my city, since not only is the local LGBT community divided into cis LGB folks and trans het folks, but it’s next to impossible to find someone who feels the same way as I do.Besides that, I’m mentally ill, neurodivergent, fat, and just a lot of things that aren’t considered “mainstream” or "acceptable" in my country, let alone city.When I first learned that a big name franchise (Apex Legends) was going to have a canonically nonbinary character(Bloodhound), I was thrilled and fell in love immediately.I was in a rough patch of my life when I decided to try out the game, but I sucked at it. However, seeing Bloodhound during the Tutorial mode, and listening to their quips comforted me.Months after that, I had a dream we were both alone in the woods, and they took off their mask. I leaned in to kiss them on the cheek. (gay)Personally, I consider myself a very cynical person when it comes to romance, if you ever met me in real life. I think it’s because my culture’s society keeps pushing cishetnormative ideals of romantic love and I’m just so fed up with it.Even though I'm aromantic (experiences no romantic attraction), I don't mind exploring what it would be like if I've developed romantic feelings for someone.
